The issue no longer occurs after restarting the vehicle. Production Solution Improved software. Service If the above conditions are confirmed, proceed as follows: Perform an SVM update of the control units Electric Drive Control Unit (Power electronics Rear), J1235 (address word 0051): and Electric drive 2 (Power electronics Front), J1234 (address word 00CE). Note: To prevent the high-voltage battery from charging during the software update, the high-voltage charging cable on vehicles with high-voltage components must be unplugged BEFORE the SVM code is entered. Charging the high-voltage battery during a software update can cause damage to the high-voltage components. SVM Update Instructions 1.
