TECH TIP
Dealer
Technicians:
Sometimes
a
leaking Oil Pressure Switch (OPS) can
be misdiagnosed as a rear main oil seal
leak due to the fact we have a drain hole
in the engine valley to the rear of the
engine. Using your videoscope we can
identify where the oil leak is coming
from and determine within a few
minutes if the OPS is leaking.
