Door seal on mirror attachment point
Information:
Customers are complaining that the door seal on the mirror attachment point wrinkles.
This is caused by the lightweight shims, which are thicker and sharper than the safety glass (ESG). As a
result, the door seal will spring up when the lightweight shims close.
The fault type can occur on the driver's and/or passenger's side.
Action required: Insert a spacer between the mirror attachment point and door seal to prevent the problem from occurring
again.
