WLN3 Workshop campaign - Replacing starter WLN3 Workshop campaign - Replacing starter Update 12/17/21 Please be advised that parts for vehicles affected by WLN3 are available and repairs can begin. The Starter part (V04015001BJ) must be ordered via PPL Order with PRMS Parts Support ticket needed. The ticket should be sent to your dealer's PCNA Parts Support Specialist and the ticket must contain the PPL Order number. All other supporting parts can be ordered as needed, without a PRMS ticket. The TI is available in PCSS and the AfterSales Document Database. Overview The affected vehicles may have been fitted with a starter on which the threaded joint for the end cover can come loose and can cause the starter to fail. As a result, the vehicle may not start. 1 WLN3 Workshop campaign - Replacing starter To prevent this from happening, the starter must be replaced on the affected vehicles. If a barcode is generated with the credit note, the affected part must be sent to Porsche AG as usual. If no barcode is generated with the credit note, the part can go directly into the genuine remanufactured parts process or be scrapped. Warranty processing Validity: This workshop campaign will be carried out up to June 3rd, 2026 and will be closed on that date. Please note that warranty claims can only be processed before this date.
