Engine ECU Software Update
Specific information for Region support is provided below.
Condition
Due to incorrect programing of the software in the engine ECU, in the event the accelerator pedal is forcefully
depressed and immediately followed by aggressive braking, there is a possibility the vehicle may stall at low
speeds. If the vehicle stalls, steering, and braking are not impacted and the vehicle can be restarted
immediately.
Dealer Notification
The attached dealer letter will be sent to all Toyota dealers on July 13, 2022
Please reference the attached Dealer Letter for additional details.
Please review this notification with your staff to assure that all relevant personnel have been briefed regarding
this subject.
