Tech Tip T-TT-0707-22 September 09, 2022 Subject Market RoB DTC X0528 and/or Hybrid System Overheating Message on MIDMID USA Service Category Section Engine/Hybrid System Cooling Applicability 2023 Camry HV APPLICABLE VEHICLES 2023 Camry HV CONDITION The customer may complain of “The Hybrid System may be overheating” displayed in vehicle alerts and further inspection may find Vehicle Control History (RoB) DTC X0528 (Generator Inverter Temperature High) stored. This issue is under investigation at this time. RECOMMENDATIONS Please create a TAS case and contact TAS for instruction prior to diagnosing or repairing of the vehicle. If it is a weekend or a holiday, continue with diagnosis and repair. Please save all parts and/or details and contact TAS on the next available workday. Prior to contacting TAS, attach the following to the case: 1. Techstream file with complete Health Check, All Freeze Frame Data and Vehicle Control History (RoB) data from Hybrid Control 2. Photo of HV Water Pump Parts Identification Tag 3.
