This is to notify you of the upcoming Service Campaign to inspect the clamps on the heating circuit hose lines on approximately 6
MY 2021 Mercedes-Benz Metris vans. All affected VINs will be flagged as "OPEN" in VMI.
Background
Issue
MBAG has found that incorrect clamps may have been installed in the coolant circuit on certain vehicles. As a
result, this may lead to leaks in the coolant circuit and loss of coolant.
What We’re
Doing
MBUSA is conducting a Service Campaign. An authorized Metris dealer will inspect the clamps on the heating
circuit hose lines on the affected vehicles, and replace if necessary.

Clamps on Heating Circuit Hose Lines
MBAG has found that incorrect clamps may have been installed in the coolant circuit on certain vehicles.
As a result, this may lead to leaks in the coolant circuit and loss of coolant.
An authorized Metris dealer will inspect the clamps on the heating circuit hose lines on the affected
vehicles, and replace if necessary.
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously
repaired.
•
Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as
described.
Approximately 6 Metris vehicles are affected.
