Category Body Last modified 24-Sep-2013 00:00:00 Symptom 101000 Seating Issue: Customer may complain of a creak or rattle from the rear seat back rest. Cause: During removal / refit of the rear seat back rest the black plastic latch covers on the rear bulkhead body panel can be broken. If the cover becomes detached or broken it can allow a small amount of movement of the rear back rest against Content the latch assembly which results in a creak or rattle noise. Action: If during your testing you suspect this area to be at issue, a gentle pull at the top of the back rest will confirm if the latch cover is disloged or broken. If movement is found the back rest will need to be removed to confirm cover is broken. If confirmed replace the latch covers where required.
