Production Solution
Fleece adhesive tape was implemented in series production in two steps:
1. CW42/2020 (Figure 2).
2. CW34/2022 (Figure 1).

1. Remove the center console decorative trim according to:
Elsa >> Repair manual >> Body >> Body Interior >> 68 Interior Equipment >> Center Console >> Center
console Decorative Trim, Removing and Installing.
2. Apply fleece adhesive tape to the trim/light bar as shown (figures 1, and 2).

Figure 2. Apply a double layer of fleece adhesive tape (approx. 2 ½” long) to increase thickness.
3. Reinstall the center console decorative trim.
4. Verify the repair by applying pressure to the center console trim.
