Technical Service Bulletin The following DTC is intermittently stored in the hybrid battery regulation control module, J840 (address word 008C): • DTC P0A9500 (High Voltage Fuse) with symptom code 28730. Note: According to Guided Fault Finding, the switching unit for the high-voltage battery should be replaced. However, replacing the part will not solve the problem. Technical Background During particularly dynamic cornering, it is possible that in rare, isolated cases, the DTC given above may be logged without a reason. This is caused by an irregularity in the diagnosis. Production Solution This bulletin will be updated when new information becomes available. New software that rectifies the irregularity in the diagnosis is currently in development. Service 1. Explain to the customer that a solution is expected in the first quarter of 2023 and that no repairs are necessary at this point. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern. 2. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi (under Related Links >> Service). Page 2 of 4 © 2022 Audi of America, Inc.
