WNN7 – Checking Fuel Tank Retaining Strap and Replace if Necessary (Workshop
Campaign)
Model Line:
911 (992)
Model Year:
As of 2020 up to 2022
Equipment:
Fuel tank, 90-liter (M–no. 0I2)
Concerns:
Retaining strap for fuel tank
Cause:
On the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that a retaining strap has been installed on the
fuel tank that does not meet the required specifications.
If this is the case, it is not possible to rule out any perceptible noises due to the low relative movement of
the fuel tank.
Action required: Check retaining strap for fuel tank and replace it if necessary, depending on the result of the check.
Information
Please note that only 2 of a total of 282 vehicles may be affected by the installation of an incorrect
retaining strap.
Therefore, please order a retaining strap only if not OK.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information).
