MHEV DC/DC Converter – Squeaking noise from Cabin

Customers will be reporting a squeaking noise inside the cabin.
Technicall Description:

This squeak can be heard from the MHEV Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter,
when under load.
Internal fault within the MHEV DC/DC converter.
Status:

Confirm the squeak is coming from the MHEV DC/DC converter. This can be done by removing
the 10 pin connector.
Turn on some vehicle electrical systems to place a load (you can turn steering wheel lock to lock)
on the charging system and see if the squeak is no longer present.
If this check confirms that the noise is coming from the MHEV DC/DC converter, then replace.

This part is recommended to be used to replace any issue with Yazaki parts L8B214B227AD /
LR131043 related to noisy DC/DC converter.
