In addition, vehicles operating in the direct vicinity of New York and Vermont may experience sporadic restriction of the Active and Remote Parking features listed above. For example, customers operating their vehicle just over the NY state line in Connecticut or New Jersey. These restrictions are expected to be lifted in the coming months. In the meantime, no diagnostic or repair procedures are needed. The vehicles are currently operating as designed. The restriction is automatically applied based on vehicle GPS location. The restriction is expected to be lifted in the coming months. If the vehicle is driven outside of these regions, then these features will function normally. See Figure 2 and the text outlined in red. The Internet Car Configurator (ICC) and Dealer Car Configurator (DCC) option descriptions are updated with the following note/warning: “Laws in some areas may restrict the use of Remote ParkAssist”.
