Case Number: S2208000097 Release Date: April 2022 Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Service 4WD Lamp On, Service 4WD System Message Customer Complaint /Technician Observation: Customer complaint, 4WD lamp on, or service 4WD message. Technician observed one of the following Drive Train Control Module (DTCM) fault codes. C1403-15-TRANSFER CASE RANGE POSITION SENSOR-CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY OR OPEN C1403-92-TRANSFER CASE RANGE POSITION SENSOR-PERFORMANCE OR INCORRECT OPERATION. Repair Procedure: Inspect the XY230A connector T314 transfer case position circuit for any spread or pushed out terminals. Inspect and secure the blue C1 DTCM connector if needed to ensure it is securely latched Fig 1, 2, 3. XY230A - black 40 way Fig 1 This document does not authorize warranty repairs.
