PROCEDURE
1.1.
Park the vehicle on an even surface with the transmission on neutral.
1.2.
Apply the parking brake and set the master control switch to the stop position.
1.3.
Set the battery disconnect switch in the battery compartment to the off position.
1.4.
Lift the rear cross seats to access the engine compartment from inside the vehicle.

Remove the existing CCV inlet hose from vehicle. Discard the 4x P-clamps holding the hose. Retain the
other hardware

1.6.
*Only if required (original thermofoil heat shield damaged), order and install a new N74053-09 thermofoil
heat shield on the new CCV inlet pipe. See the level 2 material list on page 1. The heat shield should start
as close to the motor side connection as possible. The joint should be located away from the engine. Secure
with cable ties N56339.
1.7.
Use new P-clamps 4x N84090-14 to install the new inlet CCV hose.
1.8.
Torque end clamps to 5 N•m (3,7 lb-ft).

Trim hose end as required
to avoid interference with
firewall
Remove and replace by
