TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Grinding, Growling Or Clicking Noise/Inoperative Power Steering Column During Telescoping/Raking Operation 22-2475 05 December 2022 Model: Lincoln 2018-2021 Navigator Issue: Some 2018-2021 Navigator vehicles may exhibit a grinding, growling, or clicking noise or inoperative power steering column during telescoping/raking operation. This may be due to the steering column telescope or rake actuators. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the steering column actuators and reprogram the column and pedal memory module (BCMB). Warranty Status: Eligible under provisions of New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW)/Service Part Warranty (SPW)/Special Service Part (SSP)/Extended Service Plan (ESP) coverage. Limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. NVLW/SPW/SSP/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool. Replace the steering column actuators. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 211-04 Steering Column Telescopic Motor and Tilt Motor. 1.5 Hrs. 2.
