Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Front Tire Rub On Fender Liner Splash Shield
Discussion: If a customer states there is a rubbing, clunking, or rattle noise on tight
turns while cornering, inspect the above area for signs of contact with the tire. If rub
marks exist on the splash shield it is not necessary to replace it. Using hand pressure
over bend and adjust the shield away from the tire in the diagonal area shown in the
image below.

confirm the improvement in clearance.
