Cause: Unknown – engineering investigation on-going. Action: Content When submitting an EPQR, please include pictures of the area surrounding the damaged drive shaft rubber boot before removing it. If you believe another component on the vehicle may have damaged the boot please include a picture showing the impact point. Pictures showing the damage to the boot should be included in the EPQR. Please describe the typical vehicle use by the customer. If the vehicle has been used off road a description of those driving conditions would be helpful. If the customer remembers any impacts to the underside of the vehicle, please include a description of what happened. If the vehicle is in the UK, and within 100 miles of Coventry, engineering may want to look at the vehicle before it is repaired.
