Workshop findings: The fuel/EVAP lines in the longitudinal member start to vibrate in certain operating situations and this creates the noise. Technical Background Due to pressure pulsation from the high-pressure pump on engine side the underfloor line in the underbody tunnel vibrates. This vibration causes noise that can also be heard in the vehicle interior. Production Solution Not applicable. Service 1. Remove the underbody cover. Page 1 of 3 © 2023 Audi of America, Inc.
