JUSTIFICATION:
The anchor bolt of one of the auxiliary heater high voltage cable retaining collar may
come into contact with one of the coolant pipes under certains conditions.

PROCEDURE
1.1.
Park the vehicle on an even surface with the transmission on neutral.
1.2.
Apply the parking brake and set the master control switch to the stop position.
1.3.
Remove the street side engine air intake grille and the rear light panel. Retain the grille, the panel and the
hardware. See Figure 1.

1.4.
Locate the structural support for the high voltage cable. See Figure 2.
1.5.
Bend the structural support manually in a way to obtain a minimum distance of 25/64 in. (10 mm) between
the collar anchor bolt and the coolant pipe. See Figure 2.

1.6.
Install the engine air intake grille and the rear ligth panel with the retained hardware.
