Note:
The problem can occur after a software update of control unit N62/4 - Driver assistance system
A quick test may not show any relevant fault codes related to the IC messages.
Cause
In rare cases, it may be that no automatic SCN coding was performed after control unit N62/4- driver assistance system was programmed.

Remedy
Perform new SCN coding of control unit N62/4- driver assistance system.
If control unit N62/4- driver assistance system cannot be diagnosed using XENTRY Diagnosis, then a voltage reset of
control unit N62/4- driver assistance system must be carried out. Under some circumstances, this reset must be performed several times before the control unit responds again.

As soon as control unit N62/4- driver assistance system can be diagnosed again, there must be a new initial start up
with subsequent SCN coding.
Note:
It is possible to check under the "IDC223" object in VeDoc under the "History" tab whether a software calibration number was also redocumented with the software update.
Attachment shows an example of missing "Software calibration number". When correct a "Software calibration number" entry will be associated with IDC223.
