Technical Service Bulletin 91 Incorrect date (far in the future) shown on the instrument cluster and MMI 91 23 66 2067330/2 January 31, 2023. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 22-08 dated June 16, 2022, for reasons listed below. Technical Background A hardware issue in the emergency call module may cause the date to be incorrect. Production Solution Not applicable. Service 1. Take a picture showing the complaint and upload it to DOC-IT. 2. Disconnect the vehicle’s 12V battery and then wait at least five minutes before performing the next steps 3. Replace the emergency call and communication module (J949, address word 0075) according to the repair manual. 4. Reconnect the vehicle’s 12V battery. Page 1 of 3 © 2023 Audi of America, Inc. Technical Service Bulletin 5. Run the replacement test plan for the emergency call and communication module (J949, address word 0075) using ODIS. 6. Ensure the vehicle is in a location with good cellular reception. 7. Cycle the ignition. 8. The correct date and time should appear in the instrument cluster and MMI after a short time. Should the correct date not appear after an hour, check step 6 and repeat step 7.
