SERVICE INFORMATION
If the MIL is ON and DTC P0101 (MAF SEN/CIRCUIT-B1) and/or DTC P010B (MAF
SEN/CIRCUIT-B2) is stored in the ECM on an APPLIED VEHICLE, follow the information
in this bulletin along with the ESM to complete the required repairs.

To avoid damage to the vehicle, only remove the Mass Air Flow Sensor from the Air
Cleaner Cover if necessary.
1.

Never shock the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Never disassemble the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Never touch the sensor of the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
Inspect the applicable Air Duct(s) for any leaks or poor connections.

For DTC P0101, inspect the passenger (RH) side Air Duct (Figure 2 and Figure 3).

For DTC P010B, inspect the driver (LH) side Air Duct (Figure 4 and Figure 5).

Disconnect/remove the Air Duct as needed, and then correctly reconnect/reinstall the
Air Duct, ensuring there are no leaks.


