PDI – Additional Spring (bump stop)
Installation
There has been a recent update to information in ELSAPro regarding the
removal of the transportation protection blocks and installation of the
bump stops that we would like to bring to your attention. You can view
the latest procedure in ELSAPro under Maintenance > Transport
protection, remove front and rear strut transportation protection
devices.
It is critical that the bump stops are fully seated during the PDI process
and prior to customer delivery. If this step is not completed correctly,
there is a good potential that the vehicle will return for a repair.
