If DTC C2581-78 (Distance sensor) and/or DTC C2581-92 (Distance sensor) are stored in
the LASER/RADAR system, please refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2 for the
updated ESM procedure.
HINT: This bulletin will be used to amend the ESM and mirrors the current ESM layout.
Published times are available in the Flat Rate Warranty Manual, if needed.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. VISUAL INSPECTION
Check distance sensor and distance sensor bracket for damage or looseness.
Does damage or looseness exist?
YES>>
1. Repair or replace affected components. Refer to Removal and Installation.
2. Perform distance sensor alignment. Refer to Work Procedure.
NO>>
GO TO 2.
2. CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS
Is "C2581-78/92" detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "LASER/RADAR"?
YES >>
1. Perform distance sensor alignment. Refer to Work Procedure.
2. Perform "All DTC Reading".
3. Erase all self-diagnosis results with CONSULT.
Is "C2581-78/92" detected as the current malfunction?
YES >>
Replace the distance sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO >>
INSPECTION END
