Some customers may comment on the instrument panel trim plate applique is either
loose and/or has fallen off.
Cause
The cause of the condition may be due to the retention clip coming unsecured.
Correction
Apply foam tape to the tower holding the retention clips and reinstall.
Service Procedure

packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping
dangerous goods. In the event of a conflict between

If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern,
remove the instrument panel trim plate applique and
apply Kent foam tape (or equivalent) to the bottom of
the part on the side ribs of the tower holding the clip like
illustrated above. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Plate
Applique Replacement - Left or Right Side.
Once the reinstalled, verify condition is corrected.
