The message “Instrument cluster: fault. Limited warning messages. Please contact workshop” is displayed
on the instrument cluster.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC may be stored in the instrument cluster -J285- (address word 0017):
• DTC B200FF0: Internal malfunction (symptom 11534409).
Technical Background
A hardware-related malfunction may cause the customer complaint listed above.

Service
1. Please check the production date of the currently installed instrument cluster:
The production date can be found via ODIS:
Self-diagnosis → Address: 0017 System name: 0017 – Instrument cluster → Identification: → Production date
2. Replace the instrument cluster.
3. Please make a note in the claim comments if the production date of the old instrument cluster is on or after
October 15th 2022.
Replacement parts produced before October 15th 2022 can be used to repair vehicles
