Customer states:
A headlamp warning is displayed in the instrument cluster. One of the low beam lamps may be inoperative.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored in the Left and/or Right light control module, A31/A27 (address word D6/D7):
• DTC C119811 - Low Beam Headlamp Bulb, short.
Technical Background
Insufficient application of soldering paste to various LED’s inside the headlight.
Production Solution
Process optimization at manufacturer.
Service
Inspect the wiring and connections at the affected headlight to ensure no other root cause is present. If the wiring
is ok, replace the affected headlight.
