WNQ3 – Checking Windshield and Re-Bonding if Necessary (Workshop Campaign)
Vehicle Type:
Macan (95B)
Model Year:
2021
Concerns:
Windshield
Cause:
On the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that the windshield was not installed according to
the specifications during production.
Due to a potentially insufficient hardening of adhesive, a gap can occur between the windshield seal and
the roof due to slight slipping. As a result, wind noise can be perceived by the customer from a driving
speed of approx. 60 km/h (37 mph).
Action required: Check windshield and re-bond it depending on the inspection result.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information).
