2021-2022 F-150 - False Alarm Activation With A Trailer Connected And/Or
DTC U0143:87 Stored In The Trailer Module (TRM) After TSB 22-2122
Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles may still have a false alarm activation with a trailer connected and/or
diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0143:87 stored in the TRM after technical service bulletin (TSB) 22-2122
was completed. This was due to a software release issue. To correct the condition download and run the
TRM configuration application in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming use
12651D4 in section 10 of the service labor time standard (SLTS) manual.
