Model Line:
718 Boxster (982)
718 Spyder (982)
Model Year:
As of 2017 up to 2021
Concerns:
Rear lid hinges
Cause:
There is a possibility that no paint has been applied to the edges of the rear lid hinges on the
affected vehicles.
If this is the case, corrosion can occur at the contact surfaces of the rear lid hinges to the inner side
section, depending on weather conditions over the service life.
Action required: Check rear lid hinges and rework depending on the test result.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information).
