Action required: Check rear lid hinges and rework depending on the test result. Affected Vehicles: Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information). Required materials Required Materials: Part No. Designation Quantity V04015001AG Cavity preservative 400 ml/ 13.52 fl oz cartridge (approx. 40 ml/ 1.35 fl oz required per vehicle) Information Use-by date and storage of corrosion protection wax (cavity preservative). • After opening corrosion protection wax, store it in a dark, dry place at temperatures of +10° to +30°. • Corrosion protection wax has a shelf life of approx. 12 months after opening, depending on air and lighting conditions. • Write the opening date on the can. • After opening the can, corrosion protection wax can change over time (e.g. color change or skin formation). To prevent skin formation, seal the can tightly after use and stir the wax frequently.
