Customer states:
The acoustic and optical parking aid does not work.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC may be stored in the driver assist systems control unit –J1121- (address word 00A5).
DTC B107A16 Voltage supply for parking aid sensor, voltage too low (symptom 233474).
Technical Background
A software related misdiagnosis may cause the DTC to enter erroneously.

1. Do not perform any repairs. Any repairs for this concern may be denied.
2. Instruct the customer that this condition is normal.
Workaround
• If the vehicle’s driver assist control module -J1121- (address word 00A5) is older than SW 0381, please
perform the software update in TSB 2069244.
• If the vehicle is already at SW 0381 or newer, the symptoms of this DTC should resolve themselves after an
ignition cycle.
