2023 F-Super Duty – Average Fuel Economy Text Cut Off When Set To Km
And L/100 Km On The Center Display Screen
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may experience a concern where the average fuel economy text on
the center display screen is cut off when set to (Km and L/100 Km). There is no text cutoff issue when the
measurement unit settings are set to (miles and MPG) or (Km and Km/L). This may be due to the
accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software and replacement or reprogramming of the APIM
may not resolve this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for
this condition and will be released via an over the air (OTA) software update expected in Q2 2023.
Customers that have experienced this concern should verify automatic updates are enabled and that the
vehicle has been run long enough to receive updates via OTA. Monitor OASIS for additional information.
