2023 F-Super Duty - DTCS U023A:00, U0159:00, And/Or U0146:00 Setting In
The ABS Module After Remote Starting
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCS) U023A:00, U0159:00, and/or
U0146:00 in the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module after the vehicle is remote started. This may be due
to the image processing module A (IPMA) not communicating on the controller area network (CAN) during
the remote starting event. Replacement or reprogramming of the ABS module or IPMA will not resolve
this condition. U023A:00, U0159:00, and/or U0146:00 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in
the ABS module, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and
no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.
