Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) does not include notes requiring ordering the Protector Heater seals
when replacing the air conditioning Evaporator Core (87511- #####) or Radiator Heater Unit SubAssembly (87107- #####).
RECOMMENDATIONS
When replacing the air conditioning Evaporator Core (87511- #####) or Radiator Heater Unit SubAssembly (87107- #####), the Protector Heater (87286 - #####) seals are not reusable and NEW
Protector Heater seals must be used. Best practice is to order the protector seals at the same time as
the Evaporator Core or the Radiator Heater Unit Sub-Assembly to prevent delays in repairing the
vehicle.
