2023 F-Super Duty - Illuminated Brake Warning Indicator - DTCs C0047 And/Or P0557
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with vacuum assist brakes may exhibit an
illuminated brake warning indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C0047 and/or
P0557 present. This may be due to the brake vacuum sensor. To correct the condition,
remove and replace the brake vacuum sensor, part NK4Z-2C444-A. To prevent repeat
concerns, install the sensor with the electrical connector pointed towards the
identification label on the vacuum brake booster.
