TO: Toyota Parts, Sales, and Service Managers
SUBJECT: PT954-34220-02 & PT954-34221-02 Tundra / Tundra HV Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover
Model year 2022-2023 Tundra / Tundra HV Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover (PT954-34220-02 and
PT954-34221-02) may have retention concern due to hardware. TMNA is requesting the return
of ALL Dealer inventory, purchased prior to 2/23/2023, to your facing PDC for credit and
inspection.
Dealers will receive full reimbursement for each part returned at current dealer cost.
Parts Return Process
1. Dealer checks stock to identify PT954-34220-02 or PT954-34221-02 Tundra / Tundra
HV Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for return. Process as soon as possible, but no later than
2/22/2023.
2. If the part was purchased within the past 30 days, Dealer will submit a Manufacturer
Defect claim in CPS and follow normal return process.
3. If the part was purchased prior to the past 30 days, Dealer will contact facing PDC to
initiate pre-approved claim form.
4. Dealer must return pre-approved claim form and part(s) to facing PDC.
• If a dealer is not on DDS, please return parts via ground transportation and submit
a claim for freight reimbursement by providing a copy of the freight bill to the
facing PDC.
• Parts should be returned to the facing PDC within 3 business days of receiving preapproved claim form from your facing PDC, but no later than 2/24/2023.
