Customer states:
The vehicle does not start. The message “Engine start system: fault” or “Power unit start system: fault”
appears in the instrument cluster.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored statically or intermittently in the onboard supply control, J519 (address word 0009):
• DTC B114815: Terminal 15 open circuit/short circuit to B+
• Various terminal 15 DTCs may also be stored.
Technical Background
Hardware conflict within the onboard supply control, J519 (address word 0009).

Service
If the customer concern and DTC match as stated above, replace onboard supply control unit J519 (diagnostic
address 0009). Reference the TSB number in the claim comments.
