The 2015MY Dealer PDI Checklist Has Been Revised
Please be sure to read and review the checklist thoroughly before starting.
The revised portions of the checklist have been highlighted in red for your convenience.
2015 Dealer PDI Checklist ALL MODELS
This document is a checklist only. For details on procedures consult the applicable Subaru Service Manual

Initial Inspection
BRZ: Ensure the power door glass “Full Close Index System” moves the door glass down and up when doors open and close
BRZ: Ensure license plate bracket in the trunk (Customer to request installation of front license plate bracket)
Install the (2) body plugs to seal underbody rear tie down points
__ Legacy & Outback plugs located in rear with tool kit
Complete placement of accessory and items stowed for shipment
__ Items vary by model and may include crossbars, hood protector, moon roof air deflector, under spoiler, antenna, wheel covers/caps, etc.
__ Install NAV system SD card (located in rear cargo tray/tool kit area)
Remove all exterior and interior protective coverings
__ Remove any remaining adhesive from vehicle’s exterior surface
Visually check all exterior surfaces for dents and scratches
Remove transit fuse and install back up power fuse
Check and adjust tire pressure (including spare tire)
Enter Vehicle – Key: ON / Engine: OFF
Set clock to local time
Preset local radio stations
Check/adjust zone setting for E/C compass mirror. Specific zone settings can be found in the owner’s manual
Navigation System
__ Check all display functions for normal operation
__ Check/adjust destination/zone settings for navigation system
Vehicle Road Test
Fill fuel tank with proper grade fuel
Check vehicle ride, handling and performance
Check for steering wheel “off center”
Confirm wheel alignment (drift and tracking)
Check cruise control operation and function
__ Verify Eyesight system operation
Check brake operation and performance
Check the paddle shifter operation
Check hill holder function
Check speedometer and odometer function
Confirm navigation system operation
HEV: Check hybrid system (confirm Hybrid Ready light is on)
HEV: Check that EV mode lamp operates normally
Listen for abnormal noises (body & trim, engine, transmission, wind, etc.)
After Vehicle Road Test
Check for leaks under vehicle and in engine compartment area
Check for any open campaigns/recalls prior to release to customer
Items in red indicate new revision/additions.
Perform all items listed as applicable. Models will vary depending on trim level and vehicle specification.
Please make adjustments to this PDI procedure as appropriate to address long term storage. Subaru of America recommends maintaining the battery
state of charge, leaving plastic wrap on until delivery and increased air pressure in tires during periods of long term storage.
This vehicle has received a Pre-Delivery Inspection as required by Subaru of America. All items requiring correction or adjustment have been brought
into specification as described in the applicable Subaru Service Manual.
