PROCEDURE:
CAUTION
USE A DRILL STOP WHEN DRILLING TO
ENSURE THE PROPER HOLE DEPTH.
1. Lightly make a horizontal mark across the Corian at the top of the frame rails on both sides of
the shower.
1. Carefully remove the sealant on the outside of the vertical shower frame rails.
2. Make sure the door and the stationary glass are supported. Remove the three screws from the
top frame rail using 1/4” ratcheting wrench with a Phillips bit and remove the top rail.
3. Carefully remove the shower door. Two people will be needed to remove the door.
4. Carefully remove the rubber seal around the inside of the shower between the glass and the
frame rail. Make sure to hold the stationary glass. Set the rubber seal aside to re-install later.
5. Carefully remove the stationary glass. Two people will be required to remove the glass. Make
sure the rubber blocks stay in the channel of the frame rail at the bottom of the glass.
6. Remove the vertical frame rails that held the glass in place. Be careful not to hit the ceiling
when removing the frame rails.
7. Find the center of the horizontal mark that was placed on the Corian at the top of both frame
rails. Lightly make a vertical mark on the center of the horizontal mark. The center point of the
horizontal line will give the location to add screws that will be centered under the frame rail
down the wall.

the blocking on the support wall, make sure to use a drill stop. Do not use pre-existing
screw holes. Make sure new drilled holes and screws will go under the frame rail.
This screw will go
through the frame
rail.
This is the placement of
the hole that will need to

9.
Drill the second hole where roughly the middle of the shower door would be, under the existing
screw for the frame rail. Remember to follow the center of the horizontal line down the shower
wall to verify the hole will be under the frame rail. Predrill a hole using 1/8” drill bit through the
solid surface, foam, and blocking. Do not go through the blocking on the support wall,
make sure to use a drill stop. Do not use pre-existing screw holes.

10. Drill a third hole in the middle of the first and second screw holes under the existing screw for
the frame rail. Remember to follow the center of the horizontal line down the shower wall to
verify the hole will be under the frame rail. Predrill a hole using 1/8” drill bit through the solid
surface, foam, and blocking. Do not go through the blocking of the support wall, make
