CONDITION
When using a Mongoose MFC3 cable to connect for diagnostics to the DLC connector on current
generation GR86, the cable may contact the driver’s door panel when closed. Please see attached
photos for an example of this condition. It is recommended that an ADVi unit be used for diagnostics
or the driver’s door remain open if using a Mongoose MFC3, to prevent any damage to the DLC
connector, cable, or door panel.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Please utilize the ADVi unit for diagnostic work or leave the driver’s door open when using the
Mongoose MFC3 on all 22-23MY GR86 vehicles.
