A TAC ticket must be opened for any repairs related to the ceramic brakes.
Technical Background
In an effort to gain information, we are asking that you contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before
replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential issues with the condition noted above.

Technical Service Bulletin

1. Verify the concern.
2. If the vehicle is within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty then complete the attached brake acoustic
questionnaire.
3. If the concern is noise-related, obtain a sound recording, and frequency analysis as per TSB 2051095: 46 Audi
frequency analysis.
4. Attach the completed questionnaire and sound recording to the TAC ticket. A sound recording is necessary to
help determine the root cause of the noise and to help resolve the concern.
5. Contact a TAC consultant before proceeding with any repairs.

This TSB is informational only and not covered by any Audi warranty.

• TSB 2051095, 46 Audi frequency analysis.
