Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P103200:
Particulate Matter Sensor Removed from Exhaust
- US21+OBD22 Emissions




P103200 has been added as a fault monitor on vehicles with
US21+OBD22 and newer emissions. The monitor compares the
calculated exhaust temperature from the PM sensor to the reading from
the T4 temperature sensor. In certain situations, the Engine ECU (EMS)
will use a modeled T4 temperature for this comparison. If the modeled
reading is utilized during periods of rapid, significant temperature
change, the P103200 monitor may fault.
It has been determined that this behavior is due to software. As of June
2023, software revisions are in development to resolve this issue.
If a vehicle with US21+OBD22 emissions has P103200 logged
on a DTC Readout:
If DTC P115100 OR P246F64 IS ALSO present on the readout:
- Determine if there are any other PM sensor-related codes IN ADDITION
TO P1151 or P246F64.

If other PM sensor codes ARE present:
Replace the PM sensor.
If other PM sensor codes ARE NOT present:
Ensure that there are no other exhaust temperature codes
to be diagnosed. Utilize the proper Troubleshooting Guide in
CBR for any additional DTCs.
If there are no other codes to address, clear DTCs and
release the vehicle. This is software-related and will be
addressed by a future update.


