WPG4 Workshop campaign - Replacing rear wing circlips WPG4 Workshop campaign - Replacing rear wing circlips ID Number WPG4 Models 911 GT3 RS (992) Model Years 2023 VIN List Attached Number of affected VINs 12 Issue Description On the affected vehicles, it is possible that retaining rings for fixing the bearing bolts of the rear spoiler have not been fitted in accordance with the specifications. If this is the case, the bearing bolt of the rear spoiler is not sufficiently secured axially in the bearing bracket and can move out of the bearing over the life of the vehicle. As a result, noticeable vibrations can occur in the rear area of the vehicle during driving. For this reason, the retaining rings must be replaced. What should Dealers do? Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as soon as possible on affected vehicles. The remedy is now available as of 7/28/23. Parts can be ordered via PPL as normal. Required parts Part number 9GT898533 Designation Circlip repair kit Quantity/vehicle Parts return* 1 set (contains 14 circlips) No 1 WPG4 Workshop campaign - Replacing rear wing circlips *The parts must be stored until such time as the related warranty or campaign claim has been credited. If a barcode is generated with the credit note, the affected part must be sent to Porsche AG as usual. If no barcode is generated with the credit note, the part can go directly into the remanufactured parts process or be scrapped. Warranty processing Validity: This workshop campaign will be carried out up to May 17th, 2028 and will be closed on that date. Please note that warranty claims can only be processed up to this date.
