Review the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 3 to install a license plate bracket to
the front fascia of an APPLIED VEHICLE.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Cut the EPDM Semi Closed Cell Foam J-50397-7 into two (2) pieces.
IMPORTANT: Each piece must be no longer than 70 mm (2.75 in.)

Cut the Urethane Foam J-50397-11 into two (2) pieces.
IMPORTANT: Each piece must be no longer than 70 mm (2.75 in.)

Remove the two (2) posts from the back of the license plate bracket, as shown in
Figure 4.

Double layer the foam by placing the EPDM Semi Closed Cell Foam J-50397-7 onto
the Urethane Foam J-50397-11, as shown in Figure 5.

Install the J-nuts, and then place the two (2) pieces of double layered foam on the top
corners of the license plate bracket, as shown in Figure 6.
IMPORTANT: The double layered foam must not cover the J-nuts.

Mount the front license plate bracket to the bumper fascia at the location marks (small
dimples) using the two (2) provided screws.
