Technical Service Bulletin Service Ensure that there are no leaks in fuel system; check according to the Guided Fault Finding or the Workshop Manual. If GFF instructs you to replace fuel tank pressure sender G400 (NVLD), please proceed as follows: • Please remove fuel tank pressure sender G400 (NVLD) as specified in Workshop Manual. • Using a compressed air gun, please blow through the NVLD (item 12 in illustration) with several brief pressure applications of approx. 5 bar. To do so, use the opening on the NVLD marked in the illustration by a green arrow (figure 1). Note: The opening marked with a red circle (figure 1) must not be closed or exposed to compressed air, as this may cause irreparable damage to the NVLD. In addition, this ensures that possible contamination can be blown out of the NVLD. While blowing through the component as described, please hold it in your hand -> the component must not be clamped or secured in a vice (risk of damage). Figure 1: Fuel tank pressure sender G400 (NVLD). Reinstall the fuel tank pressure sender G400 (NVLD), and recheck the system for leaks. © 2023 Audi of America, Inc. Page 2 of 3 All rights reserved.
