Complaint
Rear spoiler sporadically remains in opened or closed position and a fault message appears in the instrument cluster.
The rear spoiler can then no longer be actuated manually using the button.
The function of the rear spoiler is re-established after an ignition reset and the fault message is no longer present in
the instrument cluster.
Cause
Software of the AMG DRIVE UNIT.
Remedy
All vehicles of model series 232 with M177 (SL55/63) from start of production - end of modification year 22/1 - manufacturing date before April 21, 2023:
--> Perform software update of the AMG DRIVE UNIT N145/1 to Latest SW Available.
All vehicles of model series 232 with M177 (SL55/63) from start of modification year 22/2 - manufacturing date on/after April 21, 2023:
--> Perform SCN coding of the AMG DRIVE UNIT N145/1.
Valid for all vehicles of model series 232 with M139L (SL43) from start of modification year 22/1 - manufacturing date
on/after April 21, 2023:
--> Perform SCN coding of the AMG DRIVE UNIT N145/1.
