Service Technical Information 47/23 ENU WPC5 9 WPC5 - Supplying Charging Electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) (Workshop Campaign) Model Line: Cayenne (9YA / 9YB) Model Year: As of 2023 up to 2024 Concerns: Charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) Cause: Due to worldwide semiconductor bottlenecks at individual suppliers, the charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) was not available for charging at domestic and industrial electrical outlets. To avoid delaying delivery of the affected vehicles, the vehicles were delivered ex-works without charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger). Action: Put charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) in the vehicle. Affected Vehicles: Only the vehicles assigned to the campaign (See also PCSS Vehicle Information). Required parts Information Please note that the affected vehicles must be supplied with different charging electronics (Porsche Mobile Charger) depending on the region. Never transport the charger unsecured. Stow the charger in the charging bag in the luggage compartment. Always transport the charging bag in the luggage compartment, never in the passenger compartment (e.g. on or in front of the seats). Information The charging equipment will be supplied with or without a transport bag, depending on the vehicle type. If a transport bag was not supplied at the factory, it does not have to be provided. Information • If a transport bag is included in the delivery: Always stow and transport the charger in the bag. Attach the bag to the front and rear lashing points using the hooks. For information on the lashing points in the luggage compartment: See Owner's Manual.
