There is a possibility that the fastening screws on the rear end strut on the affected vehicles
were not tightened to the specified tightening torque.
This can result in acoustic problems (rattling noises) in the rear end area.
Action required: Reworking threaded bush on rear-end strut.

Installing rear end strut (hash). For instructions,
see  Workshop Manual '421319 Removing and
installing strut'
Replace  Threaded bush for rear end strut -1both rear screws for the new threaded bushes on the
rear-end strut (hash) and tighten to the prescribed
tightening torque.
Tightening torque 25 Nm (18.4 ftlb.)
