Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 23-NA-082 August, 2023 INFORMATION Subject: Information for Vehicles Having Rear Park Assist Button But Rear Park Assist Does Not Function Brand: Model: Chevrolet Blazer Model Year: VIN Breakpoint: from to from to 2023 2023 — — Engine: Transmission: — — Involved Region or Country Middle East, Israel, Chile, Colombia, Aruba, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Curacao, St Martin, Honduras, Nicaragua, North America Additional Options (RPOs) Equipped with PARK ASSIST-REAR, LANE ACTIVE SAFETY-KEEP ASSIST, DELETE CODE PARK ASSIST (RPOs UD7, UHX, 060) Condition Some customers may comment on having a rear park assist button, but the rear park assist does not function. Cause The condition is due to a design change to remove the rear park assist system completely with NO retrofit. The 2023 Blazer will never have a functional rear park assist system even though some vehicles were built with a ride control switch that still contains the rear park assist button on it. Note: This button DOES NOT function and has NO effect on how the vehicle operates. Correction If the customer desires to have the correct ride control switch without the rear park assist button, replace the ride control switch. In the event of a conflict between the procedures set forth in this bulletin and the laws that apply to your dealership, you must follow those applicable laws. Remove the front floor console trim to remove the ride control switch. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement in SI.
